The HMD North Somerset (Holocaust Memorial Day) Steering Group comprises volunteers from various sections of the community plus a representative from North Somerset Council, Nailsea Town Council and Voluntary Action North Somerset.
Representatives include members of various faiths and world views, ethnicity groups, ages and genders.
The steering group organises Holocaust commemorative events which honour survivors of the Holocaust, Nazi persecution and subsequent genocides, and enables local communities in North Somerset to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
