The Multicultural Friendship Association function is to provide social occasions for people to meet and exchange their experiences of living in a new country, as well as learning about other people’s traditions, customs and beliefs; to promote friendship, mutual respect and understanding between people of different cultures living in Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas; to help people develop friendships and social networks across the divides of culture, race and nationality and to share the traditions, customs and cultures of different countries with the people of Weston-super-Mare and the surrounding areas, in order to promote diversity and shared learning in a positive way.

The North Somerset Violence Reduction Unit is a co-ordinated partnership approach aimed at reducing incidents of serious and violent crime across the Local Authority Area. It does this through early intervention, diversion and organised activity across North Somerset and aims to provide additional capability to divert young people on the periphery of violence away from that risk (either as a victim or offender) and to manage risk of serious violence in the community.

Unseen is a UK charity with its head office in Bristol that provide safehouses and support in the community for survivors of trafficking and modern slavery. They also run the UK Modern Slavery & Exploitation Helpline and work with individuals, communities, business, governments, other charities and statutory agencies to stamp out slavery for good.
