We all have an opportunity to take action for a better future. A better future where people are not suffering prejudice or persecution because of their faith, ethnicity or other characteristics.

 

‘For a Better Future’ is a powerful and meaningful theme for our photography competition. We encourage you to use your imagination and be original.

 

If needed, here are some ideas to unleash your creativity and inspire you:

 

1. Imagined Futures: Consider creating conceptual or abstract images that represent your vision of a better future.

 

2. Symbols of Hope: You could focus on symbols that represent hope and resilience, such as memorials, or trees planted in memory of victims. These images can convey the message that we can honour the past while striving for a better future.

 

3. Challenging Prejudice: You could photograph individuals from diverse backgrounds spending time together. This can highlight unity and solidarity against discrimination, showcasing the beauty of diversity.
